It will explore the advantages and disadvantages of using the different modes of transport the world of international trade. This includes packaging and shipping, regulations, documentation, insurance, route optimisation, inventory management, warehousing, freight forwarding , tracking and monitoring shipments and risk management. this module aims to develop knowledge and understanding of air,sea,road and rail freight and courier services. This module aims to develop knowledge from research activities to gain an understanding of international trade theory, global economic development and growth, currency and exchange rates, trade policies and their impact on an organisation, free trade agreements, direct investment from financial sources outside the UK, tariffs and no trade barriers, supply chain and logistics, intercultural management and international law and treaties.
Module 9
This module aims to develop knowledge and practical skills in Import/Export Customs Diagnostic enabling the learner to create a procedural manual to complete international trade operations.
